The home theater finally feels like it is properly run in with sound and image that I expect in relation to the price and the work that has been done.
Have visited various things that have not been given a permanent place.
The NanoAVR 8 channel audio processor is one of those gadgets that has been tried.
This should remove unwanted peaks and first reflex sounds in the soundscape.
Had this connected between the Oppo player and the Yamaha receiver.
Then used Umik-1 in combination with the processor to tune things in.
But this was not quite as expected. Did not think the sound picture was any better at all. Tried to follow the instructions shown on Minidsp 's pages.
But ended up with a rather lifeless and dead sound that did not give anything for the movie experience.
So it was to disconnect the case again, to rather use Yamaha's own processor.
The picture is in a class of its own, at least when it comes to 2D. And after the latest firmware update on the Sony VW500ES, 3D has become something completely new to me. Where I was bothered by a lot of crosstalk, this is now almost no longer visible. Simply beautiful picture.
But could still have wanted a little more light in 3D.
Wondering to buy a new canvas that is more adapted to 3D.
Ie a solution with pull-down canvas, where this comes down in front of the other that hangs there from before.
But now it seems that it is better to enjoy movies without chasing after upgrades all the time. Has just placed an order for 10 new bluray to be enjoyed to the fullest.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (3D Blu-ray + Blu-ray) (2 disc)
Godzilla (3D Blu-ray + Blu-ray) (2 disc)
Edge Of Tomorrow (3D Blu-ray + Blu-ray)
Noah (3D Blu-ray + Blu-ray) (2 disc)
Kule Kryp (3D+2D Blu-ray)
X-Men: Days Of Future Past (3D Blu-ray)
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (3D Blu-ray+Blu-ray) (2 disc)
Stalingrad (3D Blu-ray)
A few hours of wonderful film.
Now the dark time can begin soon 🙂
